The language of flowers is all about the different meanings flowers hold. This could be down to the flower type or a flower's colour and can bring great symbolism to a design or floral gift.
The colour, texture and scent of flowers and herbs can also help to enhance different aspects of someone's wellbeing. For example if someone is finding it difficult to relax they may find the smell of lavender can help or to help with focus and memory, some rosemary could really help.

When someone buys flowers it is often at a time of celebration or when someone is experiencing something new/challenging in their life. I really want to ensure my flowers not only bring warmth and joy to the person receiving them but also that in some way they enhance their wellbeing.
For each design I will take the time to understand a little about the reason they are being given and tailor the ingredients to compliment each situation.

Here are just some examples of meanings and types of flowers/herbs that can enhance wellbeing in some way:
Lavender - improves sleep quality, depression and stress levels. It also symbolises purity, devotion, serenity and calmness. Purple flowers are also associated with success, luxury and royalty.
Rosemary - is a symbol of remembrance, friendship and love. It helps improve memory and focus.
Sunflowers - symbolise strength, happiness, loyalty and adoration.
Jasmine - represents love, beauty, purity and sensuality. The scent of Jasmine helps to calm nerves and sooth anxiety.
Mint - symbolises personal strength, protection and virtue. Mint helps to calm the mind and can help with problem solving. Green in floral designs represents good health and good fortune.
